Cape Ascents can take maximum 4-6 pax on a hiking tour. If more participants then an additional qualified guide must be asked to assist on your tour. This will increase the fee for your tour.
Participants need to be reasonable fit and comfortable with hiking/scrambling for at least 3-4 hours (half day) or 6-7 hours (full day). A fair amount of steep uphill hiking/scrambling can be expected.
Being comfortable with heights is a bonus as some sections of routes require the use of stainless steel staples and chains embedded in the rock which are part of the route.
There are some tricky scrambling sections, however no ropes are required as they all are manageable if you are comfortable with heights. Your guide will always have a hiking rope with him to secure your safety and coach you through these sections regarding the holds and way to deal with the challenge.
